Hello SectorLords! The new demo will be dropping in about a week ahead of Steam Next Fest, besides teaching you more gameplay mechanics, there will be 2 new music tracks by Nordic Space Viking to conquer the galaxy to!

Ship Customization

Ships in the game are more than just a set of progressively stronger stat vessels. They can be customized and specialized towards the path that you choose in the game. Besides the basic stats and a ship class role bonus characteristic, each ship class has a number of upgrade slots to accommodate weapon, defense and utility modules that affect various areas of gameplay mechanics. Want to absolutely dominate most every combat encounter? Load up on weapon upgrades and pile on improved defenses and buffs to your momentum, but be careful! Modules do come with tradeoffs, such as increased fuel costs or penalties to other stats. Most upgrade modules can be purchased at Starbases, and some faction Starbases will have modules unique to that faction. Modules can also be found as loot drops from specific anomaly encounters, port discoveries, or plain old combat looting or as rewards for reaching certain thresholds, it's all for you to discover! Most modules can transfer between ships as well or be uninstalled and stored in your Locker accessible at any Starbase if you want to switch up your loadout to meet a specific goal.

A new game will not be required for the patch at the end of the month, but is highly recommended for this patch otherwise you won't get to experience any of the new content! What's in this release: NPC Cor…Community11 Aug 2026Indepth Walkthrough VideoHey SectorLords! If the tutorial scenarios weren't enough for you to get a handle on the mechanics, or, if you're like me and just like skipping tutorial missions and going straight into the main game, well a nice YouTuber/Twitch streamer, Tacaro, has made a really indepth video explaining the various commands, systems and gameplay in the Early Access Release. If you find the content helpful, d…
