Hello SectorLords! We are getting close to Steam Next Fest! I will be releasing an updated demo prior that will contain an additional tutorial scenario covering Scanning Anomalies, Deep Scans, Port Discoveries, Faction Diplomacy, the Codex, and Colonization! It will be more guided rather than free flow like the first tutorial mission, just to get you familiar with the mechanics so you can hop right into a full game without spending alot of time.

Black Markets are places where the illicit economy operate, but not every port has a Black Market presence and must be discovered by docking at a port and looking around. You start off by accepting smuggling missions which both increase your black market standing and conversely can affect your faction standing if caught by customs patrols. Increasing your black market standing unlocks higher reward missions and the occasional unique item reward, either the ability to purchase a unique pirate ship or upgrades.

I would recommend that you start a new game if your game was started before Content Patch 1, so you don't miss out on the…Major update13 Aug 2026Summer Content Patch 1!Hello SectorLords, Because there's just so much that needs to be done this month, I am splitting the content patch into two parts, with the second part being released at the end of the month. A new game will not be required for the patch at the end of the month, but is highly recommended for this patch otherwise you won't get to experience any of the new content! What's in this release: NPC Cor…Community11 Aug 2026Indepth Walkthrough VideoHey SectorLords! If the tutorial scenarios weren't enough for you to get a handle on the mechanics, or, if you're like me and just like skipping tutorial missions and going straight into the main game, well a nice YouTuber/Twitch streamer, Tacaro, has made a really indepth video explaining the various commands, systems and gameplay in the Early Access Release. If you find the content helpful, d…
