The 1st Monthly Update is all about Ascension and Expansion!
The Helicopter Vehicle, Player Shops, Safe Zone Monument, Deployable Ladders, Oil Slick Skins, and a Discord Structure Change!
Strayed Update 0.3.0.0 lets you ascend the skies with the The Helicopter Vehicle and expands its horizons both for the world (with the Safe Zone Monument) and its dwelling Strayers (Player Shops). This also comes with adding new skins and a pretty neat Discord structure change!
This update is all about going HAM on all sides - so let's get started!
The Helicopter Vehicle - Dominate the Skies!
"Traversing on foot is sooooo 0.1.0.0...", says Dinkleberg. Indeed it is - since "wings" have been given to the Strayers, all thanks to the hidden Mcgyvers providing much-needed quality-of-life upgrades to the islands' dwellers!
Introducing - The Helicopter Vehicle ! For as much as 750 shreds, you can travel by air by yourself, or even with another companion! Just look out for the Helicopter Vehicle shop in the new safe zone monument to get yourself one.
The Helicopter Vehicle uses basic fuel to fly and can be controlled through a collective and flight stick. To start the engine, put in fuel and pull on the collective. To stop the engine, simply get out of the pilot's seat.
So fly high, skin-headed pilots! Just remember - some flights may not be as peaceful as you're expecting.
Player Shops - Simplified Commerce!
Had trouble with an oversupply of that something you're just too good at harvesting? Or maybe you've come across a dire need of something that could've turned the tide of a losing gun duel? Say no more - Player Shops have come!
Player Shops are basically your own personal, craftable vending machines. Set up shop by placing them inside double door frames and create sell orders using the backside of the shop. The players will be able to purchase items you're vending by using the frontside.
Remember, all active shops broadcast their positions to the map, and players can click on the shop icons to view each shops' inventory and its specific location. Vend wisely, Strayers.
Safe Zone Monument - Safety for All
Lately, we've had many new Strayers visit the island, and most of them have decided to stay - which is great. However, one of the most common Welp reviews we've been getting is almost all about not knowing where to stay!
Due to this, our hidden island benefactors have built a new Safe Zone Monument for everyone!
The Safe Zone Monument is a walled safe zone depot meant to safeguard everyone from aggression and any other forms of external danger. This means that you can't harm any player while inside the safe zone, and you can't get harmed by others mutually.
Inside the Safe Zone Monument are NPC shops selling different kinds of stuff - all useful for every Strayer out there. There's also the shop for buying The Helicopter Vehicle at the top of the warehouse, complete with a helipad to start off your windy journey.
Take note: The Safe Zone monument can only do so much to defend you from harm. Just like any other establishment, the Safe Zone Authority won't be liable for anything that happens beyond its area.
Ladder - Climb Up!
A simple tool as it is - the Ladder is what we would call a groundbreaking must-have for any Strayer striving to survive. So it's just a no-brainer that we've added it into the game.
These craftable ladders can be attached to walls you want to climb - especially those harder-to-reach places! It's always to good to have one in your backpack just in case you need, whether it's for your own survival, or for others' demise.
Ladders can be deployed not only on your base for your convenience - but also on enemy bases. Take note of this next time you build your base.

Discord Structure Change - Organization Amidst Chaos
Since our last few updates, we've noticed an influx of new players. With this came the new servers to cater to everyone - and thus, a need for further organization of our Discord home has risen.
To help everyone feel more organized with communications on Discord, we've set up new categories catering to individual servers. While our general chat channels are here to stay, the new channels under different categories should make clearer conversations moving forward.
In the next few weeks, we're also adjusting our Discord Ticketing System to make ticketing organized more than ever. Indeed, better Support = happier Strayers.
The Strayed Experience - An Update
For those wondering about The Strayed Experience, it's still ongoing! We recently reached our second milestone of 700 Reviews from Steam and Meta Quest! If you remember one of our previous updates (Update 0.2.1.0), we brought the Golden Rock into everyone's hands for the 1st milestone!
We're still working on the 2nd community skin drop - but don't worry, it's definitely coming soon.
Currently, we're sitting at 768 Reviews. We need 32 more reviews to reach the 3rd milestone for another free skin for all!
