RolldBox Games development team Today with Ferran, one of our Co-Founders, as well as the Game Designer and Creative Director of the studio at RolldBox Games 👋 This is our first DevLog about Alex & Arty, and we are really excited to start sharing with you the things that we already have done, and chat with you about your impressions and comments about this new product! A long way until we arrived at the point that we are today, with a lot of passion and gamer oriented!Several feelings at the same time, not only excited, but happy and curious about what you like the most!
Let’s talk about the first of the two Key Characters: Alex!🔹Alex is young woman in her early to middle twenties with a rebellious, spirited streak. Alex longs to discover more of the world and live independently.🔹She’s curious, resourceful and an expert on machinery. She knows how to fix things onboard the Spaceship, Talaria, the home of Alex and her uncle Solomon. Everything and anything related to making things or putting things together is an interesting puzzle to her.
You are Alex.
What will you be able to do with your knowledge of technology?What situations will you encounter on the continent of Arcadia on the planet Gladness?Your skill and ingenuity will be key to Alex's success in carrying out her mission. Are you ready for it?A clue! You'll get a hover!
Arty, a very special creature that Alex will find quickly in the adventure. He is a shapeshifting creature with higher sentient capacity, not only to communicate, but also to use the Anima found on Gladness to influence the environment.But step by step, we will be talking about the different aspects from DevLog to DevLog!
We have been showing a demo of the product at a local event - BCN Game Fest - with a lot of success and very constructive feedback that allows us to adjust the product and move forward to a more and more attractive product.
