Survivors, Patch v0.24 is a major step forward in expanding the world, improving visuals, and adding new progression systems.
This update brings keycards, new POIs, new weapons, lighting improvements, and quality-of-life upgrades across the board.
Fixed various meshes using the wrong holster item.
Fixed collisions on powerable objects.
These now unlock doors leading to better loot and new areas across the world.
A large new POI with rooms, loot, and unique structure. This location will continue to be updated.
Tied to the keycard system — high-tier loot inside, but also higher risks.
Found in the Police Station armory.
Requires a Red Keycard — rare and valuable.
The Brute has received updated animations (more improvements coming later).
Nights are now brighter and easier to navigate.
Added sun and moon light shafts for a more atmospheric world.
The overall color grade and presentation of the game has been updated to feel more unique and polished.
Improved audio feedback when powering your base.
Movement speed slightly reduced to improve pacing and combat tension.
Camera moved closer to the player for better immersion.
Barrel spawning reworked to be more performance-friendly.
New zombie animations added for female zombies.
Added SFX for taking damage.
First-person weapon visuals adjusted for better alignment.
Updated the bandit camp enemies with more fitting weapons and appearance.
This update does not include newly balanced loot yet.
Loot tables have been partially updated for this patch, but more items — including new junk, base decorations, and useful materials — will be added soon.
We’ve also added a new shader to give the world a more distinctive look and feel.
The next update focuses on zombies:
2 new zombie types
New animations
Improved behavior and combat responsiveness
This will be a large systems update and may take time due to multiplayer syncing — but we’re excited to share more soon.
