First Content Update

Congratulations on the first update of the new year! At the end of last year, I announced a free content update that would be included in the base game. However, I later decided to divide it into three separate, smaller updates to ensure that new game content becomes available sooner, albeit in smaller portions.

In the new version 1.11, you can look forward to 30 new inventory items, including four new relic collections. Additionally, four new Steam achievements have been added for collecting these new collections.

Almost all new consumables feature a new mechanic: charge count. This means they can be used multiple times.

If you are playing in Story Mode, some items will need to be unlocked first. In Custom Game Mode, all items are available immediately (except for those unnecessary in this mode, such as those related to resources or fear), so collecting some of these collections is only possible in Story Mode.

Second Content Update

The next update will introduce new enemies. For now, I won’t reveal details about which enemies these will be, but the main goal is to add variety to acts where it is currently lacking. New bosses and elite enemies are guaranteed.

Expect the next update within the next 10-14 days.

The Steam Awards are starting soon, and if you believe Menace from the Deep deserves a nomination, I’d be very grateful for your support. It would help the game gain more visibility and reach new fans of good deckbuilders. Also, if you’ve already dived into the world of the game but haven’t lef…Community14 Oct 2025Hunter's Moon: A Sovereign Syndicate Adventure has received a demo version. The game from our friends at Crimson Herring Studios, titled Hunter's Moon: A Sovereign Syndicate Adventure — which they were inspired to create in no small part thanks to Menace from the Deep — has just released a demo and is now participating in the Steam Next Fest.
