I managed to find some extra time today and threw together this minor update:

All character portraits are now splashed with a little green.
There are now alerts showing which characters you need to talk to to progress to the next scene.
Added a Polaroid Camera to the backpack. This is for narrative continuity, it's not intractable. Something took all those pics of hers.
The tablet has been turned back on but with a couple of features missing. Please keep in mind that this feature will be overhauled.
Adjusted opening tutorial note. This is still just a temporary tutorial.
