We’ve been watching streamers play Night Shippers during the first few hours after launch. It’s been great seeing the fun but we’ve also noticed some common points of confusion. Here’s a quick Q&A to help clear things up:
Straw Effigy Ritual: The Straw Effigy must be placed in the pot, not on the plate at the reviving altar.
(Fail the ritual and… yeah, your friend is staying in hell.)
Citizen (Zombie-looking guy): Their AI may feel “off,” but that’s intentional. They’re designed to be dumb, so players can lure them into traps or holes.
Energy Regeneration: Energy regen is intentionally slow. You’re meant to refill it with food and drinks and manage it carefully.
Map Unlocking: Maps are permanently unlocked within a save file once obtained.
Yellow area on minimap: That area will indicate that your customer might be somewhere in that zones. We are also reducing its size.
That said, these are just our design intentions and we might be wrong sometimes 👀
Let us know what you think! We’re always listening.
Stay safe out there, Shippers 🚚
