Closed Playtest Demo Before the Open Demo

We’re getting closer to the Open Demo release of Gold Mining Simulator 2.

But before we launch it publicly, we want to test it with a limited group of players, gather feedback, and polish the experience so the demo meets your expectations.

That’s why we’re organizing a Closed Playtest Demo.

🛠 What Is This Playtest?

• This is a Single Player Demo playtest

• The goal is to collect feedback and improve the demo before it goes public

• Multiplayer testing will happen later, closer to full release

This phase is about polishing the demo experience.

🔓 Starting Point

Current position: ~#267 Global Wishlist Ranking

We’re unlocking:

1500 playtest slots to start.

And we increase that number as we move up.

📈 Milestone Unlocks

• Reach Top 260 → 2000 total slots

• Reach Top 250 → 2750 total slots

• Reach Top 240 → 3500 total slots

• Reach Top 230 → 4250 total slots

• Reach Top 220 → 5000 total slots (MAX)

Maximum playtest size: 5000 players

The higher the rank → the higher your chance of getting in.

✅ What You Need To Do

If you want to increase your chance of getting access:

1️⃣ Click “Add to Wishlist” (see GIF below ☝️)

2️⃣ Invite friends who might enjoy the game
More wishlists = higher ranking = more unlocked slots.

3️⃣ Join the Steam Playtest to secure your entry.

4️⃣ That’s it. Just wait for the email from Steam inviting you to play if you got lucky.

No forms. No screenshots.
Just wishlist + share.

This challenge runs for 10 days.

At the end:

• We check the final ranking

• All unlocked slots will receive access

If we hit Top 220 — 5000 players get in.
