Hey Bravelings!
Even if there aren’t big updates right this second: don’t worry—I’m hard at work on quality-of-life improvements behind the scenes. Story 3 is hungry (as Blackrock things tend to be… 🪨😅), but the next patch will bring noticeable upgrades:
No more wall-cheese: Enemies no longer shoot through walls. Line-of-sight is sacred again.
Weapon QoL: New weapons are unlocked but no longer auto-equipped. No forced swaps mid-fight.
Shard comfort: Pickup range increased — less pixel hunting, more flow.
Transition balance: Generator repair bumped from 2 to 5. A small pacing brake until the new shop system arrives.
UI consistency: Troops now have the same order in the panel and the shop.
Minimap clarity: Player visibility increased — fewer “where am I?!” moments.
Shop overhaul: Moving away from static button combos to a radial menu.
Why? Gamepad buttons are precious, and 3-button combos get messy (and finger-breaky). The radial menu keeps it clean and readable.
Timing: These bigger changes are planned to arrive by Story 3. (The QoL fixes above will land earlier with the next patch.)
Thanks for all your feedback, bug reports, and patience. You’re the antimatter to my Glimmergrubbs. 💜

TL;DR: I’m on it. Next patch: no shooting through walls, no auto weapon swap, bigger shard pickup range, generator repair = 5, consistent troop order, clearer minimap. The big shop upgrade (radial menu) will arrive some time later.
