I Know a Guy: Shady Life Simulator · published
Today is the first April 1st where we aren’t joking, I Know a Guy is officially out now!
The Early Access version offers a completely revamped experience for those who tried our demo. A fully overhauled tutorial system, plenty of new missions, brand-new Shady Items, and a world full of fresh stories and mechanics await you.
But honestly, this is just the beginning... We're going off the rails.
From day one, we’ll be closely following your feedback to address any issues as quickly as possible. Since this is our first game, we have full confidence in our ability to make mistakes! :D However, we are committed to perfecting the game's balance, UI, and Quality of Life (QoL) improvements based on your input.
Our first-month patch will focus on fixing potential bugs and introducing new items we’ve been itching to add.
We believe the open world will be one of the most exciting aspects of I Know a Guy within the simulation genre. The Q2 Major Update will focus on:
A deepening storyline and more interactive NPCs. Also, more doosie ones...
New missions scattered across the map and mechanics.
Timed Challenge Mode: A high-intensity mode to keep you on your toes and make your shop more dynamic than ever.
Pizza Automation Helpers: For those who just want to sit back and have a more "chill" experience.
Pet Companions: The "where have you been all my life?" addition that will bring a new sense of life to the game.
By the second half of the year, we’ll be diving deeper into the "dirty work" that makes this sim so thrilling and think Mafia encounters and escalating stakes with NPCs. We also have some "crazy" ideas for a new way to play; we’ll announce our top concepts and let the community vote on their favorite!
The full release will feature the climax of the story, unexpected decisions, new shops, and an Endless Mode Challenge to keep the hustle going long after the credits roll.
There’s no limit to what we want to achieve. With your support, we hope to check off every item on this list and ensure that everyone "knows a guy."
Until next time. (They shouldn't know we've met.) The Bunch'o'Nerds Team
