Skills mastery is now available! The more you use a skill, the more powerful it becomes !
Mastery effects are specific to each spell! While a single mastery level will not directly show a huge impact, gaining multiple mastery levels will result in significant power gains.
World map entire rework (now 25 times bigger than before).
Saves now include the datetime, active quest (and a description name when it's an auto-save).
Cooking system rework. It is now using a crafting window similar to the blacksmith and jeweller.
Wolf cave in Dark Grove (packs of wolves respawning every 10 minutes!).
Crafting system (new interface for crafts at Helrow blacksmith and jeweller).
Majority of NPC dialogs now show small emotions animations to improve immersion.
Dark Grove zone was redesigned to contain many more mysteries and hidden treasures.
Multiple quests objectives were reworked to make them easier to understand (eg Avallon chickens).
When Malo and Bjorn were searching for the last chicken in Avallon, the game had a tendency to freeze. This is now fixed.
Chickens in Avallon were overall too hard to catch making the quest a real chore. They are now much easier to catch.
Important auto-saves (such as the first time the player reaches Avallon) were sometimes not working. This is now fixed.
Every door animations and houses entrances have new animations increasing the immersion.
NPCs talking at the door are now represented visually (eg. Margueritte the farmer in Avallon).
More cooking spots were added for convenience (in Avallon, Helrow and Dark Grove).
The default gamepad setting was changed to allow right trackpad to represent the mouse on Steam-Deck. This is to allow status effects icons hovering during more complexe fights.
The Viceral shot from Globlins archers now has a 2 turns CD, making the spell less annoying to deal with.
Numerous other minor corrections, of no particular importance, have been made.
With the event, a few more players might test the demo ! Feedbacks are welcome ːsteamhappyː.
With the last months focused on the demo improvement and pushing tons of small fixes/patches, the quality is slowly reaching the standard we want to achieve for the entire game.
With that in mind, we will slow down the focus on the demo to focus more on the future of the game, the next zones, the next bosses, the next systems, etc!
This means there might be less updates but it's only to work the best way possible on the entire game ! Thanks for the support and enjoy the RPG maker festival to discover new gems !
