This week, we’re starting something new — a recurring post series called “Tactician’s Choice”, where we pose battlefield dilemmas to test your tactical instincts.
So let’s begin...
The skies are overcast. You’ve just landed on the shores of Mantaria. Enemy scouts are nearby. You must deploy your starting army — 10 units only.
You can only choose one of the following compositions:
💪 Option A: Infantry Core – 10x Heavy Infantry
Reliable, tough, and capable of holding the line. Ideal for choke points and direct confrontation.
Strengths: Defence, endurance, front-line strength
Weaknesses: Vulnerable to ranged pressure, slow movement
🐎 Option B: Mobile Assault – 10x Light Cavalry
Speed and flanking power. Can zip across the battlefield and pressure weak units.
Strengths: Speed, flanking, mobility
Weaknesses: Fragile, suffers in prolonged combat
🏹 Option C: Rain of Arrows – 10x Ranged Units
Hit enemies from afar before they can reach your formation. Excellent in open terrain.
Strengths: Damage output, kiting, support
Weaknesses: Vulnerable when isolated, needs protection
