Thank you again for all the feedback since the release of The Cecil: The Journey Begins. In this update, we've added the highly requested mouse sensitivity option, as well as made various optimizations to reduce game file size and improve gameplay performance.
This update will unfortunately wipe old saves, as changes to the game structure and save system will cause old saves to behave unpredictably. If you wish to continue your adventure from a familiar spot without starting over, we have created save files at the start of each Act that you can download and input into your save folder. You can find the folder of backup save files here, and instructions here on how to replace your save file here so you do not need to restart your journey.
With the changes to the save system, future updates will not cause save issues, but unfortunately current saves will need to be wiped to prevent any issues. Though this is not ideal, we believe that this is a necessary step so that we can proceed with new updates without worrying about affecting save files. Going forward the game should be much more stable!
