Hello lovely player! This is Ya Mao.

Our two-week playtest has officially come to an end! We've received so much encouragement and love through the feedback forms and surveys. A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to report bugs and share your thoughts. Your input is incredibly valuable!

Here’s a look at the fixes and improvements we focused on during the second week:

  1. Mouse/Keyboard Support: For players who's using keyboard/mouse to play, you can now use Left/Right Mouse Click for most in-game interactions.

  2. Nighttime Visual Cues: Added a reminder for the dessert display at night to prevent accidental baking.

  3. Oven Fixes: Addressed those strange minor bugs occurring with the oven.

  4. Kitchen UI: Smoothed out transitions between kitchen buttons and standardized loading times.

  5. Esc Key Logic: Fixed Esc key behavior for both keyboard and controller.

  6. Controller Prompts: The kitchen chalkboard now features real-time button prompt updates for controllers.

  7. Kitchen Main Menu UI: Adjusted button transparency to make the selected option stand out more clearly.

To me, honest player feedback is priceless. I take every completed survey seriously. your voices are helping this game evolve and reach its full potential.

The Official Demo will aim to address all reported bugs so far and will introduce new features not seen in the playtest, such as Chef Star Challenge and Grandma's Postcards. This version will be much closer to the final experience, and I’d love for our playtesters to jump back in and try it out!

Thanks for reading, and see you in the Demo on February 6th!
