Hello everyone! Jane (celesware) writing this time for a change, as jnity is very hard at work to bring you the game this month! That's right, HOMESICKNESS is scheduled to release this May. Not giving out specifics yet, as it's a little too soon for that, but keep an eye out for that later this month.
So, with that being said, it'll probably be of no surprise to any of you to hear that the game has officially gone gold! Technically, the game can be played from start to finish and all the content that's supposed to be there can be accessed with no issues.
All that's left now is extra polish and balancing, as the final areas are undergoing playtesting and feedback is being gathered. Once that's done, final playtesting and QA checks will be done to ensure the game is ready for shipping. The finish line is closer than ever now.
So, as we are nearing release, I would like to leave some closing thoughts on my behalf as well. HOMESICKNESS, as you all may know, is a solo developed game by jnity, and while my contributions have been largely to varying degrees, this game still means a lot to me, and it feels so incredibly weird yet gratifying to see the finish line approaching now after about a year of seeing the game progress.
I would like to thank each and every one of you for not only wishlisting, but also showing interest and supporting the game, it seriously means a lot, not just to me. And to all of you playing the game once it's out, I hope you guys enjoy the game as much just as I loved watching its growth :)
