Music Room / play.log (ver0.13)

In this update, we have added the following features:

Music Room

You can now browse and preview all tracks included in Battle Hanafuda (FM sound / YM2612), with a keyboard-style visual preview.

Currently, the development team is working on Arcade Mode, with a strong focus on composing additional music for it.

My composition speed is not particularly fast — sometimes a track can be completed in about three days, while other times it may take several months.

I felt that letting updates stall during this process would not be ideal.

Therefore, by introducing the Music Room, we are starting a new approach:
we will release updates incrementally as new Arcade Mode tracks are completed (similar to the Touhou VGS-style workflow).

play.log

Previously, when watching an AI vs AI match in Watch Mode, a watch.log file was generated.

With this update, a play.log file will now be generated when playing Human vs AI matches.

Like watch.log, the play.log file is saved in the save directory, which can be accessed via the "Browse Local Files" option from the Steam client settings (opening Explorer / Finder).

Since the save directory is shared via Steam Cloud, logs created on Steam Deck can be easily accessed from a PC (Windows, macOS, or Linux).

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where, after selecting Hard on the title screen, the game mode (Very Short / Short / Half / Full) could not be selected using the mouse.

  • Fixed a potential issue where game controller input might not work on macOS.
