Thank you all for your continued interest and support for Shanwen! Based on your feedback from the demo, we’ve made targeted improvements and fixes to enhance the gameplay experience. Here’s what’s updated in this version:
Art Asset Improvements
We’ve refined the protagonist’s design and portrait art to unify the overall visual style, resolving inconsistencies in the character’s art direction. This helps strengthen visual harmony and deepen immersion in the Chinese folk horror atmosphere.
Scene Visibility Adjustments
Fixed issues where foreground ghosting effects obscured the player character. We’ve adjusted the display so foreground elements near the character become transparent, preventing obstruction during exploration and improving overall visual clarity.
Bug Fixes
Addressed various known issues in the game, optimized interaction logic, and improved the stability of story triggers for a smoother overall experience.
