Chinese folk mystery game ShanWen officially takes part in Sespense Game Festival. The event runs from May 29th to June 7th, offering a 10-day immersive mysterious journey. Step into fog-shrouded Lingshan and dig out the town’s long-buried secrets!
We also launched a major version update lately. The demo content has been fully expanded and upgraded with abundant new gameplay, bringing you a more complete and engrossing suspense adventure.
Night Falls Over Lingshan
Break the dull daytime atmosphere as the eerie night zone of Lingshan Town opens up. Shrouded in thick mist, the remote mountain town hides countless anomalies among run-down stele gardens, silent lanes and abandoned mining areas. Whispering night winds and flickering shadows bring constant eerie encounters. The game fully presents the heavy rural horror vibe of the 1990s, with every step filled with uncertainty and suspense.
Two Branch Storylines Officially Launched
Two fully independent story branches are unlocked in this update, along with pivotal fateful choices. The gameplay is no longer linear. Players face a crucial decision: whether to help the mysterious sorceress. A single choice will completely change the story development.
Different decisions lead to distinct plots, exclusive chapters, hidden hints and character endings. You may uncover the truth of mountain god rituals and face hidden secrets, or stand against widespread suspicion and get trapped in endless bizarre incidents.
