Hey everyone! We are happy to announce that we have decided to start sharing newly published development progress videos to Steam!

In today's video, we'll be looking at revamped road placement, height & tilting. While some of these changes might seem minor, they were absolutely essential for improving the user experience and increasing the maintainability of the code since it was one of the oldest pieces of code and caused a cascade of very much-needed refactoring. But in the end, it was definitely worth it.

Watch on YouTube
We've uploaded five previous videos before this one covering the following topics:

  • Dynamic Surfaces
  • Intersection Copying
  • Improved Intersection Algorithms
  • Left Hand Traffic
  • New World UI

You can find all these videos including today's in this playlist.

This video is also a milestone for us, as we've hired a new editor, and Hooded Horse is helping with intros, outros, and thumbnails. The feel is still homemade, mostly because I can't talk like a normal person, but we've reached a point where we are comfortable with publicly listing these videos on YouTube for all to see 🙂 Cheers! ❤️

We apologize for any disappointment this might cause, but we want to remain committed to delivering our vision of the game that will be polished and optimized enough for you to enjoy. We’ve been transparent about our development progress since the beginning and made it always known that we would prefer a delay instead…Community28 May 2025Dev Diary #10: Map Import & Buildings - Development ProgressHey everyone! We have almost finished implementing the map import feature, including the building tool. So let's take a look together at how it works and see famous buildings and skylines directly in the game, including Manhattan, London, Amsterdam, or Grand Canyon. We will also showcase all the options on how these buildings can be modified and explain some of our decisions regarding these fea…
