There are exactly 9 days left until the The Ballad Singer: Knights Templar Kickstarter campaign comes to a close.

We want to speak to you from the heart: we are at a decisive crossroads. This project wasn't born yesterday. It is the result of over 4 years of development, historical research, and design. We have been working in the shadows to create something that isn't "just a sequel," but a deep, complex evolution of the genre.

Why does this game deserve to see the light of day?

Because the depth we’ve built goes far beyond surface appearances. In Knights Templar, you aren't just managing anonymous pawns. The past matters.

Here is a concrete example of how your choices in recruitment change the gameplay:

The Butcher: If assigned to slaughter animals, he will be a valuable asset to your Chapter regarding food supplies. However, given his humble origins, he can only rise to the rank of Sergeant. His dowry will be minimal; do not expect substantial financial donations to the Chapter.

The Castellan: Having likely been trained by sword masters, he may start with a bonus to melee combat. Additionally, a lifetime of better nutrition grants him a longer life expectancy. His experience administering an estate has also gifted him with management skills that positively impact your workforce efficiency.

Learning who hides beneath the helmet will be vital for managing your Chapter's economy and battles. This is the level of complexity we want to deliver to you in its best possible form, without compromise.
