Hello!

Hope everyone's had a great start to the new year!

We've been cooking away for the past couple months as we get closer to launch at the end of March. There's been enough bug fixes, balancing, and QoL improvements that have bled over to the demo as well that's made it well worth our time to send another update out.

Some of the top line improvements include:

We've reduced the total health potions from 9 to 3, but now you replenish your health, mana and potions when you reach a Shrine for the first time

Also added in one-time auto-checkpoints at various points

Reduced instances of enemies standing about doing nothing

Iterated and improved upon the demo quest flow

Improvements when aiming with the Wristbow

Better navigational markers and quest markers where appropriate, based on feedback

Improved and better balanced boss fight

Sound Effects have been reworked and should... sound better

Added in a ranged attack for the Troll enemy

Reduced the variety of enemies faced during the demo to space it out better and not overwhelm a player

Lots of areas added to the Town hall, even if they are blocked off for the demo

Changed from DX11 to DX12 by default

There's many, many more changes and improvements so the above is just a taster.

Hope you enjoy it!

In-game event3 Aug 2026Roguelite Mode SoonHello! We've been working on the rogue-lite mode for the game. This is a separate mode that should give fans of Frontier Paladin's core combat and action-tower defense another few more hours of fun. We can't say with certainty the day that the content patch will go live, but we're towards the latter parts of our testing and it should happen sometime this month, in August. Most likely the last w…In-game event25 Jun 2026Allies UpdateHello! Yesterday's update was a smaller one, mostly focusing on improving balancing. There were some bug fixes as well of course, but the primary focus was on improving Allied performance during the TD and other set piece sections. We felt that allies were performing well at level 1, but were losing effectiveness at levels 2 and 3 so halfway through the game were not pulling their weight. In re…In-game event9 Jun 2026Cartography UpdateHello! The big improvement on this patch fixes one of the most common complaints players had - that the map was not useful enough. We've added in several functionalities such as allowing the player to zoom in and out, pan the map around, and filter in and out different types of icons that are shown on the maps. We also fixed several issues and balanced the game further, this time looking closel…
