Q: What attachments will be customizable?
A: In the first versions of weapon customization, you’ll be able to change sights, magazines, and camouflages. The system will gradually expand. Q: Will there be deep customization like in Escape from Tarkov, Ground Branch, Deadline, etc.?
A: That’s our plan. First, we’ll focus on full functional customization, what matters for gameplay, and in the future, we’ll try to implement advanced options more for aesthetics. Q: Will it be possible to install 2 (3, 5, 10) sights at once?
A: If you install a sight, the other sight slots will be locked. But you’ll be able to add a magnifier to some collimators/holographs, or an extra canted sight to certain optics. Q: Will there be a system for saving different builds of the same weapon?
A: Yes, you’ll be able to save up to 10 builds for each weapon. We also plan to add the ability to share your builds with other players in the future. Q: Is it possible to “ruin” a weapon’s stats with “bad” customization?
A: Not really — you’ll be able to install modules that don’t fit your playstyle, but you won’t be able to make a weapon fully unusable. Q: Are there any class/type restrictions for customization?
A: Yes. For example, you can’t put a bipod, optics or a drum mag on an AKS-74U — every weapon has its own intended use. We approach customization not as a theoretical “workshop build” but rather with practical justification for each module on each weapon. Q: Can you test your builds on the range before going into battle?
A: Yes. I put a lot of effort on UX and Quality-of-Life in Status Entropos: you’ll be able to view available attachments and test every weapon on the shooting range even before you buy it. The customization menu itself will have handy features for checking your build — different view modes, aiming mode, and instant access to the range. Also I've made a big post about customization on Patreon, with UI screenshots and other images and a short video:
