We wanted to take a moment to say thank you: you are now more than 250,000 players on Species: Unknown.

With 94% positive reviews and nearly 300,000 wishlists, these are numbers that feel incredible to us when we take the time to look at them calmly. Behind those stats, there are hours of gameplay, evenings spent with friends, screams in microphones, moments of panic, and plenty of laughter.

We also want to thank everyone who actively takes part in the devlogs. Your reactions, comments, questions, and debates around these posts are a huge source of motivation. That closeness, those direct exchanges, are exactly how we love to develop and communicate about our work.

A huge thank you as well to the Ambassadors and Specialists on Discord. You are at the heart of the community. You welcome new players, you help, you explain, you keep discussions alive. Your involvement is invaluable and never goes unnoticed.

And then there are the videos, the ones we discover on YouTube or Twitch that genuinely make us laugh. They are little treats for us: the unlikely edits, the moments of panic, the unforgettable fails. Seeing the game experienced with so much creativity is a real pleasure.

A very special thank you to everyone who has taken the time to leave a review. Your feedback means a great deal to us. It helps us improve the game, but also gives it visibility. Player reviews on Steam are the best way for an indie studio like ours to make its work known. If you have not done it yet, consider leaving yours: even a few lines truly make a difference.

Reaching 250,000 players is a milestone we had never achieved in four months of Early Access on our previous productions. It is a step that encourages us even more to keep improving the game and to continue building on what you love about it.

see you soon,
WanadevStudio's Team
