Dear Earthlings!
It’s time for another dev diary! I have so many great things going on right now, and I want to share some massive milestones that the game and the community have reached over the past month. So let’s start with that. Milestones
After 5 years of development and 3 years in Early Access, the game has reached some fantastic milestones last month. We’ve hit our first 100 reviews on the Steam store page, reached 10,000 wishlists, and the official TikTok channel has grown to 6,000 followers. Since I began selling the game, last month marked the first time monthly gross sales went above 10k.
This is truly amazing. Five years ago, when I started developing this game, I could have never dreamed of the journey it would take or the incredible community that would grow around it. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for making this possible. I will be forever in your debt.
RPG Update part 2
I also have great news regarding the next major update. This month, I’ve started working on it, and I already have some small details and screenshots I can share with you. The next update will bring a lot of new things to the table: improved trading, a commercial hub station, shipyards, boss battles, contracts, missions, and jobs, new spaceship types, a local map, a brand-new star map, and much more. I’ll be showing all of this once I have more to share.
Above, you can see the new vendor trading menu. With this upcoming update, you’ll no longer be limited to trading only with crew members. Instead, you’ll be able to fly to commercial space hubs and buy or sell as much as you want. Above, you can see a small selection of shops (still empty for now, but they’ll be fully stocked once you visit). There will be a variety of shops inside the commercial ship, including hardware, supplies, arms and wear, a pharmacy, and a mini mart.
Above, you can see some new icons on the minimap. These represent new spaceship types, including the previously mentioned commercial hubs, boss battle ships, shipyards, and marshal ships, where you’ll be able to accept bounty contracts.
