This week we kept strengthening Storm Seas' playable foundation with meaningful progress in progression, trade, and overall stability.
One major focus was Chapter 1. The mission "Know a new city" is now implemented: you can choose your next destination between Wild Coast and New Fortune. That choice now affects mission flow, visible objectives, and which NPC continues the route.
We also advanced "First sales between cities", a mission built around learning to trade better between ports. Progress now tracks valid purchases, valid sales, and net profit, reinforcing the fantasy of a merchant who understands routes and gets more out of each trip.
In parallel, we improved the economic system so price calculations better reflect production, consumption, scarcity, and trade balance between cities. The goal is trading that feels more coherent and less exploitable.
On the experience side, the main menu now shows the active save's player name, we added a new achievement tied to consumables, and we fixed several stability issues, including NPC ship patrols, mission refresh, and audio behavior during cinematics.
We keep moving forward step by step, prioritizing solid playable systems before showing more content.
