Dear Earthlings!
It’s time for a new dev diary, I have some interesting new things to show you guys! This is what I’ve been working on over the past few weeks. I hope you like it! Bounty Contracts
With the upcoming RPG Update Part 2, I’ll be adding a variety of contract missions to give the game a more defined goal, including bounty contracts. You’ll be able to visit your local Marshal Station and choose from a range of bounty missions. You’ll need to fly to the target’s known location and either arrest them or bring their body back to the Marshal ship to claim your reward. Finally, there will be a real reason to build jail rooms on your ship.
Cargo Delivery Contracts
I’m also working on cargo delivery contracts. With these, you’ll be able to visit your local Supply Station and accept a variety of cargo delivery missions, each with its own route risk (such as pirate attacks) and payload classifications (Safe, Radioactive, Biohazard, and Explosive). The riskier the route and the more dangerous the cargo, the greater the reward. Simply load your ship with the payload and deliver it to its designated location. Docking
And last, but definitely not least, with the upcoming update you’ll be able to dock your ship to other ships! This means you can create one giant vessel, as there will be no limit to how many ships you can dock together, the only limit is what your PC can handle.
You won’t always have to leave your ship to enter another one. Instead, you can simply dock and walk straight into the other ship, as shown in the video below. This also opens up great opportunities for the upcoming missions I’m planning to add.
