Hey everyone!
Over the past two weeks, we’ve been deeply focused on finalizing World 2 and refining the ideas for World 3 👁️ and we can already tell these two chapters will feel very different from each other.
In World 2, we introduced two new mechanics: pistons and levers. While they weren’t the most technically demanding to implement, our focus was on making sure they felt intuitive to the player, added meaningful variety to the puzzles, and above all, made sense within the world and narrative unfolding at this point in the game.
These mechanics bring a new rhythm to the gameplay, creating interactions that are both strategic and surprising 😃 and they help reinforce the themes and mood that define this part of the journey.
We also took this time to enrich the world with key narrative elements, subtly embedded in the environment and progression. Without giving too much away, World 2 marks an emotional and symbolic shift 🧩 and we’re really excited for you to explore it.
And yes, we’ve already started shaping World 3 😵💫😵💫 and it’s there that things get a bit more complex. But we’ll talk more about that soon.
Thanks for following along! In the next post, who knows, maybe we’ll share a visual sneak peek? 👀
