Hey everyone,
I'm happy to announce that after My Virtual Friend has now hit Steam, along with a demo to accompany it. Expect regular updates for this demo as we add more features based on your feedback.
My Virtual Friend is still in development, with the demo serving as our approach of "Early Access".
The core idea for the game is already implemented howerver, with some extras:
- Cute girl(s) doing cute things
- Interact and customize your character
- 8 different instrumental music playlists to help you focus
- Media player integration (Spotify, Apple, Foobar,...)
- Translated (EN, JP, CN, KR)
Roadmap
I'm hoping to make this game together with your feedback. The game will remain completely free until the v1 release (which would add multiple characters). After this, a free demo version will still remain available as well.
This roadmap is what I've planned so far, but I would love to hear about the features you would like to have as well, leave them in the comments below!

- Option to move icon from Taskbar to Tray
- More outfits
- More ways to interact with your character
- More dynamic linking between what your character does and what you're doing

Help shape development
This isn't everything we've planned however, and we'd love to hear your thoughts as well. The best way for that is to try the demo out for yourself and leave a post in the community discussions.
