We're ending the year with a final demo update that makes diving back into the demo worthwhile! 🌟
In addition to new story content, we've reworked a feature we've been receiving feedback on. Now, without further ado, let’s get right into the patch notes!
The characters you see in the Echoes now have more pronounced visual effects, animations and glow in different colors, making them easier to distinguish.
The conversation you have with Mora in her room is now longer and includes new decisions you can make that directly affect her dialogue. The dialogue tree for this scene is quite something! 👀
The Entity that guides you through the tutorial now appears throughout the entire demo to add her own thoughts on past events. Will you share her viewpoints, or disagree with them?
Echoes of Mora features glowing fish trails to help you find all the Echoes and Fragments needed to progress the story. But, to be fair, they haven't been very reliable so far. We've received your feedback and reworked this feature. You can now summon the fish trail at any time instead of waiting for it to appear, and we've added pathfinding so the fish lead you to your next destination without taking shortcuts through walls and boulders.

Fixed a bug where the previews of Fragments above Echoes were not visible.
We've heard your concerns about the VR version of the demo not working with Virtual Desktop. We'll look into this issue. For now, we recommend using a Link cable with SteamVR or Meta Quest Link. Thank you for your patience!
The game may occasionally crash with an error message reading “Array index out of bounds.” If this happens, please restart the game.
In VR mode, the chain of the locket breaks after inserting the locket into the inventory. For now, we recommend avoiding placing the locket in the inventory while playing in VR.
Some objects disappear from the inventory.
The door to Mora's room sometimes doesn't open after completing the puzzle. If this occurs, try restarting the game.
In the last Echo sequence in Mora's room, Mora may T-pose briefly during one question due to a broken animation.
Some rocks currently have missing textures, which we're working to fix.
