Bug Fixes & Other Updates

  • New Credits screen

  • District customers will once again only ask for items that you've taken to market in your Stash (until you run out of trinkets of course).

  • You'll no longer see a notification that there's a customer at your window every time you return from a district.

  • No more cleaning in the dark - we've fixed a bug that caused the lights over the work bench to occasionally not turn on after sleeping or when returning from a district!

  • The cursor will now change back from a speech bubble to a hand after returning to the shop from a district.

  • The Return to Shop confirmation prompt will no longer pop up if you dismiss the first customer you see at a district.

  • The pause menu can once again be closed using Esc.

  • We've added a cap to the number of trinkets that can be upcycled by adding already upcycled child trinkets - this is to prevent data corruption on trinkets that were excessively upcycled beyond the upcycler limitations.

  • When using a gamepad, the cursor will now correctly snap to single dialogue options when reloading a save file.

  • We've made our cursor snap-to function more responsive which should mean no more loss of focus on dialogue panels when using a gamepad.

  • When using a controller and closing the pause screen with the Menu button rather than selecting Resume, the cursor will no longer get stuck on invisible pause menu buttons.

  • We've moved the Continue Indicator arrow on dialogue panels to prevent overlap with the navigation UI when using a gamepad.

  • We've made further tweaks to make Akilah's mask quest clearer and less ambiguous.

  • Reputation VFX will no longer appear behind Hullifer XVII.

  • When taking delivery of an item from an NPC, you'll no longer be immediately pulled around to talk to Aimon before having a chance to click the Continue button.

  • The customisation interface for the Deep Shelves now shows the correct name for the Plain Set rather than displaying the variable name.

  • The cost of the Display Mat in Expansion Mode was misleading so we've tweaked the formatting to make the price clearer.

  • We've changed the way the game loads all the component parts of our random character generator. This should make loading random NPCs much faster on lower end machines.

  • We've performed a complete review of Trinket and upcycling socket sizes during the mini-games in order to standardise them.

  • The option to change language in-game has been removed to prevent font swapping issues - you can now only change language from the title screen options menu.

  • The introduction of a commas on upcycled trinket tooltips was preventing the localization for all but the first trinket from pulling through. This has now been fixed.

  • A line of Silver's dialogue was missing its localizations. This has now been fixed.

  • We've fixed a race condition which was preventing the correct localizations from pulling through during the upcycling sequence.

  • The correct localized trinket name will now appear when ordering trinkets via the Fetching Fungi system.

  • We've fixed an intermittent issue that was preventing the correct localized text from pulling through for NPC trinket requests.

  • The Done button on the Options menu in game had lost its localisation but it is now back in place!

  • We've widened the options menu drop down boxes so certain options don't cause wrapping issues on some languages in French, Spanish and Polish.

  • We've widened the text boxes on some UI elements, and enabled automatic shrink-font-to-fit on some others to prevent ugly wrapping issues in some languages.

  • We've implemented a proper, localized credits screen which auto-scrolls. It even features our lovely lo-fi soundtrack!

  • We've added shadowing to even more text in game to help with readability.

  • We've added a backdrop to the title screen options menu to help with readability.

  • We've increased the size of the in-game options menu to improve readability on small screens.

  • Text within dialogue boxes is now a dark colour to help with readability on the light background.

  • The font size within dialogue option boxes is now the same size as that within the main dialogue panel to help with readability on small screens.

  • We've increased the size of the Game Guide buttons and the Continue button on tutorial panels to help with readability.

  • We've increased the size of the Day number on the HUD to help with readability on small screens.

  • New credit screen

  • District customers will once again only ask for items that you've taken to market in your Stash (until you run out of trinkets of course).

  • You'll no longer see a notification that there's a customer at your window every time you return from a district.

  • We've updated the credits screen so it auto-scrolls. It even features our lovely lo-fi soundtrack!

TRASH GOBLIN PLUSH

Did you know the Trash Goblin plush is now available as a DLC? Well it is!

MORE TO COME

And there we have it! Another giant update, all for free, and we can't wait to announce the NEXT EXCITING THING which is mere DAYS away!Meanwhile, don't forget you can get Official Merchandise right here, and join the devs and other goblins on our discord right here.

KNOWN ISSUES:

  • An Achievement called "Market Forces" doesn't trigger at the immediate point you'd think, it triggers at the end of the day after reaching that point!

  • Some existing players will experience a bit of an annoying issue with the new Geronimus quest. Saves in the end game state will certainly see Geronimus take a few days to appear at the market as indicated, around 3 days total. New players and players in the mid point of the game likely won't see this issue. There's potential that this will also happen on the Hortensius quest too. We can't retroactively fix this on peoples' save files sadly, and our apologies for that!
