Each environment provides a gameplay modifier that grants special bonuses and impacts your vehicle in various ways. As you progress through gameplay milestones, environments shift at random and demand adaptation of playstyles in order to survive.
Day: The starting point for all playthroughs, it provides a safe environment with increased visibility.
Night: Weapons don't overheat during the cool desert nights so you can flex your arsenal without pausing to cool down.
Dawn: The dawn of a new day brings new hope for survival. Your vehicle passively regenerates HP over time.
Dusk: As the sun sets and engines cool, gain a massive increase to your vehicle's speed.
Nitrogenic: Vividly-blue nitrogen skies provide an infinite supply of nitrous oxide for infinite boosting.
Swamp: The air is saturated with a putrid moisture that decreases visibility and increases lightning damage.
Blood Moon: A dark red ambience surrounds you, greatly reducing visibility in exchange for increased self-healing via leech/vampiric augments.
Sulfuric: Sulfuric fog is harvested by your vehicle and provides an infinite supply of energy to be used by your active and passive abilities
To continue to shake things up, we'll be announcing a new weather system with sandstorms, thunderstorms, snowstorms, blood mist, and sinister fog.
Unlike environmental bonus modifiers, these weather effects are detrimental to your vehicle and only those who can adapt will survive.
In-game race events. Win by outrunning or outgunning your opponents.
