To thank our existing demo players & to celebrate our inclusion in Steam Nextfest, we've got a (pretty big) demo update for you! This update expands the demo's content and addresses a variety of fixes and issues reported by you, our community. 💚 We're inching closer to the game's launch this year, so keep an eye out for more news on that front soon...
Nextfest Patch Notes (February 23rd, 2026)

A massive UI overhaul, including tons of new icons, tooltips, a brand new notification system, an event card timer, and event card "booster packs." ✨
Player name customization
Comprehensive (optional) tutorials for all major game mechanics
Two brand new plants, both living and undead, available in the first part of the game -- including the thundercloud-shrouded Nymph's Foot
Lots of new potions, fertilizers, and pesticides
An overhaul of the contagion system so pests are more interesting (and a little easier to deal with!) ✨
New settings & options, including text resizing (with lots more options to come in the full game release) ✨
One more key story event to tease the narrative to come...
