Hello Car Dealers!
Today's update introduces windshield damage to the game!
When purchasing vehicles, there is a small chance that you will come across a vehicle with a damaged windshield.
Once you have a Level 3 Mechanic Workshop, an additional tool will become available, allowing you to replace damaged windshields.
Park the vehicle in the mechanic zone and interact with the windshield. Use the special knife and suction cups to safely remove it.
You can purchase a new windshield from the shop and place it on the new workstation. Apply glue to its edges, then install the prepared windshield in the vehicle.
The old, damaged windshield can be refurbished using the repair machine or sold.
Damaged windshields reduce the value of the vehicle. Windshield damage will only appear once you have unlocked the ability to replace it.
Remaining Changes
- Fixed an issue causing damaged vehicle sounds to play incorrectly when entering a tow truck.
- Fixed an issue related to special sales spots in the player's dealership.
- Fixed incorrect textures on the Striker, Highrunner, Tempest, and Trail models.
- Fixed material issues on the bumpers of the Highrunner model.
- Fixed material issues on the wheels of the Tempest model.
Tony Lombardo - One Character, One Map, Two Games
In today's devlog, we're continuing our look at the shared universe of Car Dealer Simulator and Police Chief Simulator.
One of the characters connecting both worlds is Tony Lombardo. In Car Dealer Simulator, he runs the local pawn shop, where you can find lockpicks used to open crates found in vehicle trunks and sell Valuables.
The pawn shop is more than just a place to get rid of items you've found. Tony also offers Daily Deals, featuring special offers on item bundles and vehicles.
Your relationship with Tony is also built around a reputation system. The better your relationship with him, the higher your reputation level becomes - and the better deals you can get.
All of this makes Tony an important part of your everyday life in Car Dealer Simulator - but his story doesn't end at the pawn shop.
