With the new v1.4.0 update Minigame Game is becoming Free-To-Play! As of today players are now free to join their friends and others online on our official servers, or host their own custom (public or private) lobbies with the new Arcade Pass DLC!
The new Arcade Pass DLC being introduced with this update is what we consider the "Full Game" purchase. This pass allows players to both use cosmetics and host custom lobbies. These lobbies can be joined by any number (up to the max player limit of 16) of free or Arcade Pass owning players. There are no plans to lock future minigames behind any new DLC purchases and this DLC purchase is simply our way to make the game a lot more accessible to groups of friends at a much lower cost!
If you'd like to try Minigame Game with others prior to any purchase, we've also launched two official dedicated servers with our previous update that can now be joined by any F2P player or Arcade Pass owner!
Already purchased Minigame Game prior to this F2P change? You'll receive the Arcade Pass DLC for free and there will be no noticeable in-game changes for you other than a larger player base! We also don't want to forget the fact that you guys helped Minigame Game make it this far. We are looking into introducing a new cosmetic for all of our early adopters prior to this F2P change and are open to ideas over on our Steam Community forums!
