New in-run inventory, redesigned HUD, and better on laptops

WHAT'S NEW

In-run inventory

Press TAB any time (or open it from the pause menu) to see everything you're carrying: cards, artifacts, relics, evolutions, your family synergies and your real stats. Every piece has its own artwork and a frame matching its rarity, so you can read your build at a glance.

Three quality presets

Quality, Balanced and Performance. If you play on a laptop with integrated graphics, the game picks Performance for you the first time and tells you it did. You can also tune particles and debris separately.

Interface size

A single control scales text and HUD together. Made for laptops and handhelds.

IMPROVEMENTS

Redesigned HUD: health, shield and dash grouped together, a timer you can read from across the room, experience running along the screen edge, and your abilities at the bottom with their keys in plain sight.
Bigger text on small screens: HUD and inventory labels are readable without squinting.
More sound: finishing off a boss, the wave countdown, debris breaking apart and the cursed chest now sound the way they should.
The full interface in 32 languages.
The end-of-run report fits and reads properly at 1280x720 too.

FIXES

Moving and aiming at the same time with a controller works properly.
New RECALIBRATE button in Settings → Controls, in case your gamepad misbehaves.
Tutorial prompts show your controller's buttons instead of generic ones.

If you already have the demo installed, Steam updates it for you — just launch it.
