Hey everyone, I have exciting news to share!
It's been a long road to release, but things have finally come together and I can confidently state that everything is ready to go for release!
I've released a brand new trailer to commemorate the occasion:
Allumeria will be priced at $12 for the Early Access version. There will also be a 20% launch discount, so you only pay $9.60 if you pick it up within the first two weeks. I have also applied "purchasing power" based regional pricing, so in many places you will be able to pick it up even cheaper. I want Allumeria to be affordable, so I've tried to price it very low.
In other news, I have successfully started a company that I will be releasing the game through. It's called Infinimelon. You will see most mentions of "Unomelon" being replaced with Infinimelon in the coming days, so if you are curious, this is why. Nothing is changing, it's still just me, but now the game, IP and rights are owned by Infinimelon, my company.
Just last night, Allumeria hit 50,000 wishlists! It has been incredible to see. When I first started this project, I was just looking to get at least 7000, as that used to be the "magic number" for indies. But now I have blown past that goal seven times over. Thank you so, so much everyone for this support, from the bottom of my heart.
Right now, I am polishing up the multiplayer experience. There's still bugs and jankiness, and I would like to fix some long standing issues with it. I'm also still working on trying to promote the game, set up bundles, and work with creators to get as many eyes on the project as possible.
I am anticipating that I will have a lot of work to do in the weeks following the release. I suspect I will be flat out fixing bugs and gameplay issues that you find. But once that's done, my focus for the Early Access period will be fleshing out the existing content and improving side systems. I've worked really hard these past 18 months to deliver a level content that would be worth paying money for, but there's still so much left on the cutting room floor, and so much room for improvement. I really want to get stuck in and start exploring those ideas and adding as much variety as possible.
Thanks everyone for your support. I could not have come this far without you. I'm looking forward to everyone getting their hands on 0.15, I had a blast playing it myself, and can't wait to see people's reactions.
