We have released a major update for Strategic Command: World War I, featuring tournament support. Also, the popular Blue Max Graphical Mod is now officially implemented in the game as an optional skin.

TOURNAMENT SUPPORT

Strategic Command: World War I now features tournament support. The first official tournament is now available, and you can sign up here.

The tournament will be divided into three rounds, each featuring a unique challenge:

Round #1 - 1914 March on Paris

Refight the initial battles on the Western Front at a divisional level. Can Paris be taken in 3 months?

Round #2 - 1918 Ludendorff Offensive

Germany launches its great spring offensive in this divisional level campaign.

Round #3 - 1914 Call to Arms (Grand Campaign)

The Call to Arms has been issued and Europe is at war. The Great War has begun!

BLUE MAX MOD

The Blue Max Mod features:

- Original main and splash screen art - default and two alternatives
- Two choices of original counter art - NATO and hybrid that change with research
- Map enhancements, including new borders, fronts, fort and city icons
- Numerous new WWI-era sounds
