Exorcism / Difficulty Changes
In the post yesterday I mentioned that the new exorcisms are very forgiving, and are a 60/40 split between guessing clues and ghost type, they have been changed to an 85/15 split, so you have a dramatically decreased chance of cheesing the exorcism by just guessing the ghost without doing any of the clues.
I've also added a "Hard Mode", this is the old exorcism system, meaning you need to get everything 100%, if you miss anything or guess the wrong ghost type, you will fail.
Two New Ghosts
Each of them comes with new, unique interactions but I'm not going to spoil them, I'll let you find out what they are in-game! I'll also be hiding the Yurei model for this reason, as some stuff needs to be left a surprise! :)
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a new infinite hunt bug.
- Fixed a bug where players could glitch inside of the fridge.
- Fixed a bug where clients sometimes couldn't click on journal tabs.
- Fixed a new exorcism not starting bug.
- Fixed the items spawning in, should be a lot cleaner now!
- Fixed a bug where you couldn't start an exorcism on "Farm Lane".
- Fixed a bug where the RemPod wasn't spawning in.
- Fixed a bug where ghosts weren't actually breaking walls.
Changes:
- Ghosts now interact with all the objects in the house, and will subtly move them around, or push them off countertops.
- The ghost now starts an earthquake during an exorcism (currently only a visual effect, will add audio and environment interaction in the future if everyone likes the effect).
- Organized items better in the starting area (Although Anti-Radiation Pills are still causing some issues).
- Added crouching animations. They're pretty janky currently, but I'm happy keeping them in there, as they're better than sliding around on the floor.
- Added a crumbling sound when ghosts break walls.
Hope you all enjoy the new ghosts, if you have any ideas for new interactions I'd love to hear them, as that's the only thing holding me back from adding more ghosts currently, I don't want them to all feel the same!
Thank you heaps, everyone.
- Kyle.
