Good day Word Charaders! The CARNIVAL IS IN TOWN! 1) New game mode Word Snake! 2) 6 new game modes coming, Word Beast, Word Psychic, Word Trail, Word Poker, Word Shoot and Word Brick! Each mode will be tied into the Word Charades base engine and will have achievements and go to the global steam and local leaderboards! Stay tuned more game modes coming your way!
Word Charades now has over 1 million words. We added a new Sports mode and fixed some achievements that were not firing correctly. When you win a game, these achievements will automatically fix themselves and apply. Thank you for playing!
Campaign wins now instantly count towards the "1 Win", "10 Wins", and "50 Wins" achievements the moment the grade is completed, matching the behavior of the standard game modes! They also instantly push the player's updated best score and time played to Steam. This fix is retroactive and if you achieved the award, you will not have to redo it.
New "EasyEasy Mode" Added! Added a new toggle on the Main Menu for players who want a more relaxed experience. When enabled, EasyEasy Mode automatically reveals one random free letter for any game mode. This will be shown in the Hint Box and the virtual keyboard as highlighted letter. Note: Easy Mode is fully integrated. You still earn achievements and track stats while playing on EasyEasy Mode…
You can now make your own games - choose custom game it will pop a folder with instructions. Save the file and choose it from the drop-down menu and will show custom game for the mode. Fixed some achievements and leaderboard bugs.
Added a Fisher-Yates shuffle and system-clock seeding so the word variety stays fresh every game. Enhanced the word tracking so the player should not encounter the same word during the same game. Created a new easy mode game called The Rainbow. More easy modes will be released this week! Roadmap: Working on making it so you can upload your own wordlists in a future update.
