Playground VRSource Byte Sp. z o.o. · entered 27 Feb 2021Playground VRSource Byte Sp. z o.o. · entered 27 Feb 2021We don't want to have it in early access for a long time. It's hard to predict it accurately at the moment. Our task is to add more funny and playable elements. Thanks to them we want the player not to get bored and to come back to the game. We also want to encourage them to explore new features! In our opinion, we should finish the game in 6 months.the store says it leaves Early Access on 30 Oct 2026about 6 months5 years 7 months1110%Overdueby 5 years 1 month
Alien DawnVoyagerVR · entered 23 Oct 2021Alien DawnVoyagerVR · entered 23 Oct 2021We expect Alien Dawn to remain in Early Access for approximately 1–2 years. This timeline may change depending on player feedback, development priorities, and the amount of additional content and polish we ultimately decide to include. Our priority is to make sure the game is ready for its full release rather than rushing toward a specific date.read 13 Sep 202612–24 months4 years 11 months245%Overdueby 2 years 11 months
FarmDSoftscale · entered 3 Dec 2021FarmDSoftscale · entered 3 Dec 2021It's hard to say at this stage, particularly given the open-ended nature of a sandbox game and the potential for interactivity in the VR space. But given the pace of things so far, it will probably be 2-3 years until the game would be out of an Early Access state.read 15 Sep 202624–36 months4 years 9 months159%Overdueby 21 months
Ancient Dungeon VREric Thullen · entered 3 Nov 2021Ancient Dungeon VREric Thullen · entered 3 Nov 2021The current plan is to stay in early access until all features that are planned have been developed. Since the start of early access, a lot of new features have already been announced that we never thought we would add, like Multiplayer for example. This is why we can't give a perfect estimate and will need to adjust the release date of the full version once more features have finished development. Furthermore, since this is a roguelite game, there are endless possibilities content wise. We have a lot of ideas that we want to realize which may take a considerable amount of time. We expect to have most of the content finished around end of 2025.read 12 Sep 20264 years 2 monthsuntil 31 Dec 20254 years 10 months117%Overdueby 8 months

A game is in Early Access when the store lists it among its genres; the clock starts on the day the ledger saw it enter or, for a game that launched into Early Access, on the release date the store prints. The promise is the developer’s own questionnaire answer, kept word for word; only ranges and single figures are compared, open answers are listed as open, and answers the parser could not read say so. Graduations are recorded from 3 Sep 2026, so earlier years undercount them. A game whose questionnaire has not been read yet says “not read yet” under No promise (how). Data by SteamPeaks.com.
