This update adds new management pressure, better weekly news variety, improved career-ending storylines, more detailed match results, calendar upgrades, and several UI/quality-of-life improvements.
Running a promotion now comes with real expectations.
If you take over an existing promotion, you will answer to the Board. They will give you quarterly goals, and your confidence rating will change depending on your results. If Board confidence reaches zero, you can be fired and your run will end.
If you create your own promotion, investors will not fire you, but your funding can increase or decrease depending on how well you perform.
A new confidence widget has been added to the dashboard, showing your current trust level and how much time remains until the end of the quarter.
Weekly news should now feel less repetitive.
The new NewsPhrasing system gives many news types multiple headline and body variations. News can now be written differently depending on the tone of the story, such as a big success, a solid result, a weak outcome, or a disaster.
News text is tied to the weekly save seed, so it stays stable in your save file but changes naturally from week to week.
Veteran wrestlers can now trigger retirement-related decision events.
When a wrestler is close to retirement, you may receive a popup with three options:
Give them a farewell tour
Book one final match
Keep them active for now
After the decision is booked into a show, a related story can appear in the weekly news feed.
The Show Result screen now includes an interactive match momentum chart.
You can see how the match rating changed minute by minute, which side was in control, and where key moments happened. Event points can be hovered to show a tooltip with more details about what happened during the match.
The calendar now has two viewing modes:
Grid View — classic monthly calendar layout
List View — chronological list of upcoming shows
Month navigation and the view switcher are now part of the top calendar bar.
The History & Stats screen now includes two new tabs:
Title History — full championship reign history, shown from newest to oldest
Year-End Awards — yearly award tracking for your promotion
Title history includes reign order, prestige rating, and number of successful defenses.
The academy system has been expanded.
Young wrestlers now develop based on several factors:
Performance Center level
Coach quality
Academy training focus
Rare development jumps
Each Performance Center level gives a small development bonus, and coaches with better psychology can improve training results.
Facility upgrade buttons now show costs, and weekly academy briefings have been added.
The dashboard now includes a weekly goals section.
It can track things like:
Matches booked
Segments booked
Storylines with no progress
Titles that have not been defended
The owner or board confidence widget has also been added to the dashboard and changes color depending on your current trust level.
Navigation modules were rebuilt into a cleaner two-column layout with icons and screen codes.
Promotion cards now use a more polished magazine-style layout.
The promotion image now takes the top part of the card, with a dark gradient to keep text readable. Promotion logos can appear in the background with low opacity, and hover animations have been improved.
Rounded corners and image clipping have also been fixed.
The HUD has received several small upgrades:
New “?” button to restart the tutorial
“Now Playing” toast when the music track changes
Action Center notifications now open in a dropdown when clicking the bell icon
Weekly news can now warn you if your roster is too small.
If your roster drops below the minimum required size for your promotion level, the game will show a signing reminder in the news feed.
Minimum roster targets are based on promotion size:
12
20
32
45
Some screens now use stronger broadcast-style headers.
These headers include an accent bar on the left and uppercase text. The accent color is based on the promotion’s branding.
This is currently used on the Calendar screen and will continue to appear across more screens.
The Weekly News screen has been rebuilt internally.
The three main pages are now separated into their own scene containers:
Feed
Events
War Room
This makes the screen cleaner, easier to maintain, and more stable for future updates.
Some news text variants were not rotating correctly, especially storyline-related news.
The random selection system has been improved, so news variations should now be distributed more evenly.
Calendar status labels were renamed to make their meaning clearer:
“Scheduled” is now “Upcoming”
“Today” is now “Book Now”
“Completed” is now “Done”
The labels now better describe what the player can do.
The NewsPhrasing system currently supports around 25 news types across weekly news and several major game systems, including sponsors, broadcasting, commentary, teams, factions, and world-state updates.
Some world update notes are still using older text logic and will be improved in a future update.
The Owner / Board Mandate system is saved directly inside promotion data, so old save serialization did not need to be changed.
All owner mandate text is now handled through localization, preparing the system for full multi-language support.
