Most Notable Improvements/Additions:

  • Improved Ember's Find behavior to be snappier and more followable
  • Fixed the bug where Ember was not listening to the Stay command even when she is not grumpy
  • Added a new tab to the player journal to revisit tutorial panels you have already seen
  • Added a resource info panel to the backpack where you can view basic name and description of resources in your backpack
  • Added a loading screen when transitioning to/from expeditions

Minor Fixes

  • Reduced the number of random encounters in the Shady Thicket
  • Removed the empty notice board object from the yard area
  • Fixed some issues with expedition UI persisting after the end of an expedition, sometimes even to the main menu
  • Added collision to certain rock walls in the expedition areas, to reduce issues where you can walk through walls
  • Cleaned up some rough edges in certain checkpoints
  • Fixed brushing motion feeling sluggish
  • Cleaned up some UI sequencing on the portal keys objective interactable
  • Stats in random encounter and Event choices are now color coded based on stat
  • Made cooking result UI slightly smaller
  • Fixed an issue where ember does not always dig at the spot you tell her to Go to immediately
  • Fixed some navigation and interaction jank when switching held resources in the backpack
  • Fixed a bug where resources removed from the backpack were popping up notifications when they shouldn't be
  • Fixed resource counts in the backpack being too small to read on certain devices
  • Fixed main menu buttons not being selectable for a longer time than expected
  • Fixed ember's grumpy mood bubble obscuring the Find target thought bubble
  • Added a grumpy disabled icon on ember's echo wisp magic meter (shown if ember is grumpy) and updated notification text to be clearer
  • Fixed interaction prompts not staying on-screen if you get too close to them
  • Turned down the light glow intensity on magic obstacle vines so they are easier to look at
