Today, a new update is here as we grow nearer to the 1.0 release! Let's get into the biggest improvements.

Warmup Screen Text Chat

That's right! You can now use text chat during the Warmup (loadout selection) screen, one place it was sorely missing, for our less-than-talkative Spacemen.

Cyberspace Suit & Helmet

There's a new glow-in-the-dark suit available to all Spacemen who reach Rank 30. This is a sure bet for anyone who wants to really stand out. Don't worry -- the Monster is probably going to find you anyway. Might as well be the dankest piece of meat on the menu.

Crouch Animation

Listen, Dave would kill me if I didn't put this in the announcement post. Crouching now has a first person animation, so it's smooooooooth.

Networked Emote Dialog

This means all Spacemen will now hear the exact same line as everyone else when an Emote is triggered. This was a big problem because the original system simply played a sound file (one of 3, usually) and different people would hear a different line. This caused some people laughing, and others... Not. But we rewrote the entire emote system to make it work the right way. You're welcome!

Lots of Co-op Improvements

Co-op has received numerous tweaks, bug fixes, balancings, map fixes, and more! Grab a friend (or several) and blast through it! It's a great time, and now you unlock several very cool Visors for doing it! (Note: These rewards are not retroactive, so if you've beaten it previously you'll need to beat each level on any difficulty to receive the new Visor rewards.)

More Cosmetics!

For those who want to support us further (and want to look like a badass), we've added a bunch of new cosmetics to the Item Store. Here's a list!

The Spokesman Voice Pack
Yep, it's been teased for awhile, and now it's here! Is he speaking through you or...? Look, whatever the case, you can pick up the Spokesman Voice Pack for those times when you really want to emphasize on the emotional neglect.

Lava Lamp Visors
Trippy. Animated. Kinda speaks for itself, and comes in three flavors; Red, Green, and Blue!

Charred Visor
An animated visor that makes you look like you just stuck your face into a nearby star. And who's to say you didn't?

Taped-On Visors
We took the joke too far. Now you can take it and put it on your face.

The Stealthbot Set
Do you like the Robro suit, but maybe thought it needed more black, and less color? Well, here it is. More black. Less color. Stealth it up, my robros.

Cross Boss Victory Pose
Bad day at work? Well, now you can show it off at the end of the game.
