Mazey Village · published · build 24819564
As promised, we are sharing a development roadmap of what you can expect from us during Early Access to our 1.0 release. Each milestone will be accompanied by a community post with plenty of explanations and videos of what's new. We won't be patching these changes individually, since preparing and releasing a patch takes a lot of time and testing, especially when we're adding new features. Instead, we'll focus that time on getting the actual content and improvements ready as quickly as possible.
Levels now appear faded on the map once you've completed them.
Added a counter to the shop showing how many copies of a decoration item you already own.
Renamed "Fences" and "Wall Decoration" to "Barriers" and "Wall Ornaments", along with updated translations.
Added support for milestone edge cases when using a gamepad.
Removed the player infill that could appear when standing behind followers and catchable critters.
Improved performance on lower-end PCs and Steam Deck by replacing the runtime character render target with a static version when characters are idle. (During thought dialogue and when opening the Inventory / Map / Notes / Tasks)
Reduced how often capture requests are made when spawning maze pieces, improving performance during maze generation.
Fixed the Turtle Quest not working because the turtle couldn't be petted.
Fixed an issue in Puzzle 3.04 where you could jump down into a dead end and become stuck.
Fixed an issue where you could push away the big NPC tree and the grumpy flowerpot.
Fixed an issue where certain shop decoration items would not scale down correctly when wrapped in a Blueprint child actor.
Fixed an issue where you could become unable to pass through a certain area after previously jumping there.
Fixed an issue where saving items in the wares could behave incorrectly.
That is all!
Thank you again for all the amazing support during Early Access! If you have any questions about the roadmap, feel free to ask us anything in our Discord and we'll be happy to answer.
Cheers,
~ Bram | Slappy Inc. 🌸
