Hey everyone,
The demo has a new update! I've spent today giving Wildixir's environments more character, making the interface easier to read, and working through your feedback from the latest runs.
I've replaced the interface fonts with Alegreya and Alegreya Sans, giving headings, menus and descriptions a more distinctive feel.

I've replaced the wide top bar with three compact displays: health and experience on the left, the expedition timer and current phase in the centre, and shrine progress on the right. This leaves more of the world visible during a run.

In the Enchanted Forest, trees now spread winding roots across the ground, with small leaves and subtle graft seams. I've also cleaned up how their shadows meet the roots.

I've been working on the full game's other regions too. Misty Marsh now has six mushroom forms, with curved stems, mossy bases and olive, violet and dusty rose colours. Their placement has been adjusted to fit the ground and the edges of the pools.

Glass Ruins has six crystal formations, from split geodes to hollow basins and mineral fans. Blue remains the main colour, with occasional muted garnet formations among the worn stonework.

Misty Marsh and Glass Ruins are full-game regions. The demo still features Iva and the Enchanted Forest.
Thanks to SoRo and everyone who has shared a screenshot, described an awkward menu interaction, or just told me how a run went. Your feedback has helped me shape this update.
The free demo is available on Steam. I'd love to hear how your next expedition feels.
