Bahast 1.1.4 - Clearer Builds, Hunts, And Inventory

Bahast · published

Version 1.1.4 makes character power easier to understand, turns Hunt Contracts into a clearer route-driven activity, and removes guesswork from inventory cleanup.

Highlights

  • Character stats now include plain-language explanations for attributes, resources, damage, defenses, and combat ratings. Combat Readiness DPS now includes valid attuned skills and separates basic-attack and skill contributions so loadout changes are easier to judge.
  • Auto Sell now previews every matching carried item, explains why it matches, highlights it in the inventory, and shows the exact gold return before the sale. Transfer All also routes Reagents, Sigils, skill items, and gear into their correct stash storage where space is available.
  • Hunt Contracts now show the marked route, completion condition, capture odds, reward, and failed capture clears in a dedicated card. Players can jump directly to the contract route, spend a Hunt Mark to reroll, and release unwanted captures only after an explicit permanent-action confirmation.
  • First-time explanations now introduce After-Battle Summaries and Death Recap when those features first appear. The selected preference is saved and remains adjustable under Settings > Game > Gameplay.

Progression And Itemization

  • New Characters now begin with a Blazing Storm Ring alongside their Enchanting Sigil, giving the opening loadout an immediate item comparison and crafting target.
  • Change Sigils can now drop from the start of the game. Cleansing Sigils begin dropping at Monster Level 35, are substantially rarer, and remove one randomly selected lowest-tier modifier instead of resetting the entire item.
  • Tide Market weapon gambles now separate one-handed and two-handed weapon families, preventing broad family choices from returning the wrong handedness.
  • The Skills screen can now be opened with `K` after it is unlocked, and the shortcut reference explains the town-only Stash restriction.

Fixes And Polish

  • Status-effect details now explain Bleed damage, Shock amplification, and Frayed Accuracy and Dodge reduction with their actual values.
  • Improved inventory, stash, character sheet, combat HUD, Hunt board, Pause menu, and world-map layouts across desktop and responsive views.
  • Expanded the Player Guide and release-supported localization coverage for character stats, Hunts, controls, status effects, inventory actions, tutorials, and related feedback.
  • Added focused unit and browser regression coverage for the new DPS calculation, Auto Sell preview, Hunt flow, capture release, tutorial preferences, localization, persistence, and Cleansing behavior.
