The Catalina Island Demo level has received a big update with more on the way this Friday.

We have updated the player onboarding experience for Catalina, with a focus on providing clear guidance for new players grabbing gear and completing their first training.
New mission menus now provide a clear path to grabbing your gear, completing basic objectives, and earning the “Pathfinder Basic Ops” achievement.

The SD-1 and O.R.D.I. aerial platforms will see substantial use during prospecting and resource discovery. This week, they are receiving a complete UI/UX overhaul to deliver more valuable terrain data and improved ways to share it with your friends or P.L.O.T. neighbors.

This Friday we will introduce O.R.D.I. as a recoverable object in the demo level (jump back in to grab it — it will not auto-populate in your inventory!). Craft some ammo and prepare to remove massive chunks of terrain as needed. It also boasts powerful offensive and defensive capabilities, which you can test with your friends in-level.
