a crash that could happen on the commander johnn'st boss fight is probably fixed
A point in the game involves suffering dearly. Although most players will never get to this point, a bug on some systems was causing this suffering to be merely simulated, rather than allowing players to experience it for themselves. This has been properly addressed.
