Version 2.0.4 Update: Smoother, More Stable Expeditions

LazyLegions · published

Hello, Commanders!

Version 2.0.4 focuses on making the game smoother, more stable, and easier to read. This update improves long expedition sessions, high-density battles, inventory management, battle results, save protection, and Nightmare Rune gameplay.

Combat and Expedition Performance

  • Optimized multi-hit damage, DPS tracking, drop scanning, and Nightmare Rune triggers to reduce spikes during high-attack-speed battles.
  • Expedition routes now refresh only when needed, reducing unnecessary UI redraws and data processing.
  • Boss equipment, bulk chests, and guardian enemies now spawn across multiple frames to reduce stutter.
  • Fixed an issue where some enemies could occasionally appear without health bars during intense battles.

Inventory and Skill UI

  • Added lazy loading, frame-sliced preloading, and paged rendering to improve inventory responsiveness.
  • Merged duplicate refreshes and delayed equipment tooltip creation to reduce UI stutter with large inventories.
  • Class skill panels now update incrementally while preserving scroll position and collapsed sections.

Expedition Scenes and Drops

  • Expedition backgrounds and night assets now load on demand, reducing memory spikes during area transitions.
  • Improved decoration reuse and night-light updates to reduce node churn when changing areas.
  • Dropped equipment can now sleep, while bulk chests use fewer persistent effect nodes.

Save Data and Stability

  • Strengthened local recovery history, pre-update checkpoints, and save rescue tools to reduce the risk of abnormal overwrites.
  • Defeat, boss, planet, equipment, challenge, and tutorial progress now use merged writes and prefer combat idle windows.
  • A maximum 30-second save interval remains active during continuous combat to balance performance and data safety.

Nightmare Runes and Combat Feedback

  • Improved Nightmare Rune combat triggers, runtime adaptation, and save restoration.
  • Expanded defeat analysis and combat feedback to make team performance easier to understand.
  • Fixed enemies without death animations failing to finish their death sequence correctly.

Thank you for your continued feedback. We will keep monitoring long-session stability, save compatibility, and high-density combat.
